Teddy Swims may have lost out on the best new artist Grammy on Sunday night, but he got a pretty good consolation prize: His new album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

It’s his first top-10 album, and his best sales week and streaming week ever for an album. The project includes the singles “Bad Dreams” and “Are You Even Real.” While Teddy’s song “Lose Control” was Billboard’s biggest hit of 2024, its parent album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), peaked at #17. However, it’s spent 69 weeks to date on the chart and is currently #25.

Meanwhile, Teddy and his girlfriend, Raiche Wright, are expecting their first child, and Teddy revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the baby is due in June, which is why he wore an outfit studded with pearls on the Grammy red carpet: pearl is one of that month’s birthstones.

Teddy also told ET of the baby, “I can’t wait to meet him,” possibly letting slip the child’s gender.
