Chase Matthew is emotionally conflicted in his new track, “Dancing in the Rain.”
Chase sings in the ballad, “Are we gonna be crying in the storm or dancing in the rain?/ Going up in smoke or sparking up a flame/ Is it on the way to hell or heaven for a change?/ Are we making love or making a mistake?/ So tell me, what’s it gonna be tonight?”
Sonically, “Dancing in the Rain” boasts a genre-blending sound that melds Chase’s country vocal with pop and lo-fi beats and soft bass lines.
Chase is currently making his way up the country charts with “Darlin’,” the follow-up to his debut single, “Love You Again.”
Chase’s headlining 2025 World Tour kicks off Dec. 14 in Ridgefield, Washington, and wraps April 25 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After that he’ll open for Keith Urban on Keith’s High And Alive World Tour.
