For the first time, nuclear engineer Arielle Konig faced her anesthesiologist husband Dr. Gerhardt Konig in a Maui courtroom on Friday since he allegedly tried to kill her while they were celebrating her birthday on Oahu last month. The hearing was in regards to Arielle’s request to extend her current Temporary Restraining Order, or TRO, to keep her husband away from her and their two children on Maui. she wrote in her TRO request that her husband accused her of having an affair, was extremely jealous and sexually assaulted her. Friday’s proceeding was continued to next month. The current TRO remains in effect. The attempted murder trial is scheduled for June.
